Javier Benavides (aka Limabeatz) has been in direct contact with the urban and electronic scenes of much of the world for more than ten years. As a producer, he has always drawn from genres such as Chicago house, hip hop, bass music, and Afro and tropical sounds, but his great passion arose unexpectedly after his first trip to Brazil in 2012. That's where he met first-hand the funk dance scene of the favelas and began to delve into the genre until it became the essential piece of his sound as a producer.
